Verbs
A verb is a word that describes an action or state of being. The Hindi word for ‘verb’ is क्रिया (kriyaa). For example:

In Hindi, verbs in the infinitive form (that is, the basic form of a verb not inflected or changed according to a particular subject, number, gender or tense) end in ना.
