Hindi Varna Bodh Class Notes – Sunday, May 25

Namaste class,

In our Hindi class dated Sunday, May 25, we reviewed the words on pages 14-16 of the Hindi Vivek Part 1 (new book) in class, as well as some of the masculine/feminine words from the previous week’s class. Then we went through the Number (वचन) lesson in Hindi. Hindi has two numbers, Singular and Plural. I wrote some vocabulary on the board:

The above list contains some additional words I did not write in class, but which appeared in previous Hindi exam papers.

We read through the vocabulary on page 22 of Hindi Vivek Part 1 (new book), which covered the अ sounds. You had to write the words from this lesson in your books and read through the words. For homework, you were supposed to read the words in the lesson at the top of page 23 (the आ sounds) and write them in your books.
