Masculine/Feminine Words
The Hindi word for gender is ‘लिंग’ (ling). Masculine translates to ‘पुल्लिंग’ (pul-ling) while feminine translates to ‘स्त्रीलिंग’ (stree-ling). Here is a list of masculine and feminine words in Hindi:

In your exam, one question deals with opposites. You may be given one or more of the words above, and you will have to provide the opposite e.g. if you are given the Hindi word for ‘king’, you must provide the word for ‘queen’.
