This is your Hindi teacher, Vasudev. In our first Hindi Varna Bodh class for the term (on Sunday, May 5), I introduced the class and went through what to expect in it. We covered the Hindi vowels and went through Baarahakharee (combining Hindi consonants with the short form of vowels)

In the next class, please revise the Hindi vowels and consonants, as well as the numbers from one to ten. I will also begin work on nouns in Hindi, using the Hindi words from the beginning of the Hindi Vivek Part One as examples.
