Namaste class,

I’m sending this email a bit late. Last week, we continued work on the Present Indefinite Tense (also known as Present Tense). We did five sentences on the board:

1.Sita drinks tea.
सीता चाय पीती है.

2. Ramesh reads a book.
रमेश किताब पढ़ता है.

3. Kavita sings a bhajan.
कविता भजन गाती है.

4. They do work.
वे काम करते हैं.

5. We girls eat bananas.
हम लड़कियाँ केले खाती हैं.

Homework for this week was to write the words on pages 27 and 28 of the new book.

We did not take up the homework sentences from the previous week. We’ll do so next week.
